1. What SAJU provides

SAJU provides Korean Saju interpretations, illustrated cards and daily readings for personal reflection and enjoyment. These Terms govern use of the website and account features. Review them before using the service or creating an account. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Your mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

SAJU is operated by an individual based in the Republic of Korea. Account, service and legal enquiries can be sent to whatsyoursaju@gmail.com. Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy; accepting these Terms is not a substitute for any separate consent required by law.

2. How to use a reading

Saju is a traditional interpretive practice, not a scientifically validated way to predict events. Scores are SAJU’s interpretive indicators, not probabilities of success. Readings, including AI-assisted text, may be incomplete or mistaken and do not replace medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. Do not use them for emergency decisions or to make decisions about another person’s rights.

Results depend on the birth details, time zone and calculation conventions. Different Saju traditions may produce different results, especially near calendar or hour boundaries. An unknown birth time leaves the hour pillar unavailable. Artwork represents a theme; it is not a photograph, a unique identity or a guarantee of accuracy.

If you provide an exact local clock time and birth city, SAJU applies apparent solar-time correction using the city-centre longitude, the historical time-zone offset and the equation of time. This uses an approximate city location, not your exact birthplace. A two-hour range or unknown time is not an exact clock value; the app indicates where correction cannot be applied or a result is near a boundary. You can review and correct your inputs in settings.

3. Accounts and your responsibilities

A first successful Google sign-in creates an account. Keep access to your Google account secure and provide information you are entitled to use. Do not impersonate others or submit someone else’s birth details without permission. Nicknames must follow the format shown in the app and be available; creating a nickname does not reserve trademark rights.

You must be legally able to use the service and enter these terms. If local law requires a parent or guardian’s permission, obtain it before using features that require it. SAJU does not currently offer a verified parental-consent flow.

4. Use the service fairly

Do not break the law, infringe others’ rights, harass people, introduce harmful code, bypass account controls or reading limits, or overload the service. Do not present SAJU’s readings as professional advice or guaranteed predictions. Security research must not expose or alter other users’ data.

5. Your information and shared cards

You retain any rights you have in the information you provide. SAJU processes it only on an applicable legal basis for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy. Accepting these Terms does not transfer ownership of personal information or replace a separate consent required by law.

You may download and share cards provided through SAJU’s sharing tools for personal, non-commercial use, including social posts. Review what is visible before sharing. This permission does not grant exclusive rights to generated artwork, ownership of the SAJU brand, or rights to sell merchandise. Other intellectual-property rights remain with their respective holders to the extent protected by law.

6. Availability and fees

The service is currently free and has no payment or paid-subscription feature. Some functions require an account or separate AI permission and may have usage limits. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security or service improvements. If paid features are introduced, we will explain the price and conditions and obtain a separate purchase decision before charging. We will not convert free use into a paid subscription without that choice.

7. Leaving SAJU or restricted access

You can stop using SAJU and delete your account in data settings. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, abuse, a security risk or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and offer a way to contact us about a mistake. Urgent security action may happen first. Data handling after closure follows the Privacy Policy.

8. Responsibility and your legal rights

We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free calculations or a particular life outcome. We remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or takes away mandatory consumer or privacy rights. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to use courts available under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, except where mandatory protections under the law applicable to you require otherwise. Jurisdiction and access to legal remedies follow applicable law; these Terms do not require you to give up a forum or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes and questions

We will update the date when these terms change and provide notice of material changes where required. Changes do not apply retroactively. If a change requires renewed acceptance, we will request it. Contact us using the details below with questions or a dispute; this does not limit any legal remedy available to you.
